Process

Production Flow

Step 01
Quarry Extraction

Raw marble blocks are extracted directly from SOM's own mountain quarries, ensuring full control over stone quality from the source.

Step 02
Block Cutting

Precision-cut into slabs using three core machines selected for scale and speed: the Multi-Wire Saw, Gang Saw, and Block Cutter.

Step 03
Treatment & Surface Finishing

Slabs requiring surface reinforcement pass through the resin and treatment line, followed by polishing to the required specification.

Step 04
Custom Cutting

Upon client request, slabs are transferred to the bridge cutter for precision sizing, tiles, stairs, custom dimensions, or any bespoke specification.

Step 05
Quality Control

Every piece undergoes rigorous inspection: thickness verification, surface polish grading, and full dimensional compliance against international standards.

Step 06
Packaging & Dispatch

Carefully packaged and prepared for dispatch, ready to reach any of SOM's 35+ international markets on schedule.
